Who we are
Firebuild Studio (“we”, “us”) is the trading name of an individual business registered in Settat, Morocco. We make websites for small businesses through brands that each serve one trade. Our first brand is Welt & Weave, which makes websites for upholstery shops in the Charlotte, North Carolina area.
This policy covers firebuildstudio.com, weltandweave.com, the sample websites we host, and our phone calls and emails. Firebuild Studio is responsible for the information described here. You can reach us at yassine@firebuildstudio.com.
What we collect
Public business information
To decide which businesses to contact and to build sample websites, we gather information that businesses publish about themselves: business name, address, phone number, opening hours, services, website, and public reviews and ratings. We find it on maps listings, business directories and the business’s own website. Sometimes this includes an owner’s name, when the business has made it public.
Phone calls
When we call you or you call us, we keep the phone number, the date and length of the call, and our notes about what was said. Calls on our phone line are recorded. We use recordings to coach our team and improve our calls. If you ask during a call whether it is recorded, we will tell you yes. Our calls are made by a person, never by an automated or prerecorded system.
We keep the emails you send us and our replies. We send email only to people who agreed on a call to receive it, for example to get the link to their sample website. Every email offering our services tells you how to ask us to stop.
Clients
If you buy a website from us, we also keep your contact details, the materials you send for your site (such as photos, text, your logo and details of your web address), and records of invoices and payments. Payments are made through our invoicing provider, Ruul. We never see or store your card or bank details.
Visitors to our websites
Our websites do not use advertising or analytics trackers, and they don’t ask you to sign in. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the pages and protect them from attacks, and may set a cookie that is strictly needed for that protection. The contact form on weltandweave.com opens your own email app; the website itself stores nothing you type.
How we use it
- To decide which businesses we might help, and to build sample websites for them.
- To call and email business owners about a website, as described above.
- To build, host and support websites for our clients, and to send and track invoices.
- To coach our team and improve our work, using call recordings and notes.
- To keep our websites running and secure.
- To keep the business records the law asks us to keep.
We do not sell or rent personal information, we don’t use it for advertising, and we don’t send text messages.
Who helps us
We share information only with the companies that run parts of our business for us, and only what each needs:

Each of these companies handles information under its own privacy terms. We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone’s safety.
Where it is stored
We work from Morocco. The companies that help us store information on their servers, which may be in the United States, the European Union or other countries. Wherever it is stored, we handle it as this policy describes.
How long we keep it
We keep information only as long as we need it for the reasons above. Notes about businesses we contacted stay while we might still work together. Client records stay for as long as we host or support your website, and longer where accounting or tax rules require it. If you ask us to delete something we don’t have to keep, we delete it.
Your choices
- Stop calls or emails. Tell us on a call or by email that you don’t want to hear from us, and we stop and note it so it sticks.
- See what we have. Ask, and we tell you what we hold about you or your business.
- Correct or delete it. Ask, and we fix it or delete it, including call recordings, unless we have to keep it by law.
Write to yassine@firebuildstudio.com. We reply within 30 days, and usually much sooner. You may also have rights under the law where you live; we will respect them.
Sample websites
We sometimes build a sample website for a business before we contact it, using the public information described above. Samples are marked as samples and kept out of search engines. If you own a business and we built a sample for it, you can ask us to take it down at any time, and we will.
Children
Our services are for businesses. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we update it on this page and change the date at the top.
